We are Michiel and Jesse both 21. We caught the idea to build our own edrum. We never did any project like this nor do we have exceptional knowledge of electronics so its a big challenge for us. While finding information for building our edrums we noticed there is a lot of information but not 1 complete torturial of how to build a edrum. So thats where this blog comes in we will documentate every step making our edrum and hope its useful for other people out there who are thinking about building a edrum.
Our plans are ass follow:
- Megadrum midi drum trigger
- Make the snare,toms and bass drum of regular tomtom’s we saw in 2 parts and convert to e-drums
- We will use regular cymbals we will transfer into 3 and 2 zone cymbals
- Find a cheap rack or build one using PVC
We will start with the megadrum first we already orderd the parts so there will be updates soon.
