Michiel and I both ran into the same problem. Our lcd seems to work since it shows a update message when fired on while holding the left button but other then that it doesnt do anything. We are currently looking into this problem and hopefully can solve it soon.
I have been busy again. I connected the LCD screen, On/OFF button and the led light. The ON/OFF button and led are not really necessary but I just liked the idea of having them since they look nice on the case
. I also prepared the cable to connect all the inputs already I just have to solder it in place (16×2 cables crammed in a little box oef). The cable I used to connect the LCD and will use for the inputs are simple IDE cables I had laying around cheap and effective just like the cables for the power switch and led which also come from a computer. One minor problem though the LCD screen is not showing any text but neither does Michiels lcd so we think we need to adjust the contrast but to adjust that we need to connect the buttons and to connect the buttons we need a 5pin cable and that is the only part we miss
So we will be getting a 5 pin cable this weekend and have the megadrum is probably fully functional this weekend then we will focus on making the drums
